Actually, as you cross the finish line a faint graphic version of your car will appear, so you can be sure your race times are improving.

This allows you to get different race cars that let you achieve the best performance on each track. The title's control system is very simple. The acceleration is automatic- the only thing you have to worry about is hitting the brakes when you need to while pressing the direction keys.
In Hot Lap League you can dive into different tracks that put you to the test. By controlling your car on the bends, and passing through different checkpoints, you will show that you are the best driver in the league. By beating the best record times you will gradually unlock new game modes.
